“He gave a command to the skies above and opened the doors of the heavens; He rained down manna for the people to eat, He gave them the grain of heaven.” – Psalm 78:23-24

This past year the Lord asked me to learn His name El Shaddai. It means All-Sufficient One, Lord God Almighty, The God Who Provides. The stories of manna were critical in beginning my understanding of El Shaddai, when the Lord asked His people to follow Him through the desert He knew they needed food and He provided each day by raining manna down from heaven. I love the concept of manna, in it we see that we have a God who understands, provides for, and fully satisfies our needs.

Today I am overwhelmed by the goodness and provision of El Shaddai. In one short month the Holy Spirit has moved in the hearts of those who have heard of my trip and spurred them to support me, and as of today I am 57% funded. I’m blown away and overcome with gratitude to El Shaddai and to everyone who has answered His call to partner with me in this way. It feels like the doors of heaven have opened up and poured out the blessing of manna each and every day. I feel so affirmed, so loved, so favored, so encouraged, and so blessed.

Thank you to each of you who have prayed over me, spread the word, and supported me financially. Thank you for opening your heart and resources to furthering the Kingdom and for helping me each day to step closer to my calling. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

El Shaddai,

I don’t deserve Your goodness, but again I find myself swimming in oceans of Your gifts and blessings. Your manna, your provision, is so sweet to taste and I am overwhelmed with the fact that You love me enough to move this mountain and make a way for me. In each new day You remind me that I am chosen – and I promise you now that I will glorify Your gift of provision by being who You made me to be and serving Your Kingdom. You are All-Sufficient, You are the Great Provider, You are all I need.

  1. By sharing your needs, you receive a blessing. Those sharing this journey with you become missionary partners with you in your vision to reach unreached people. God loves all his children and we thank God for your pure heart.
